Gael Monfils won the title at Adelaide by beating Karen Khachanov. As a reward, he got a trophy that looked like it was dug up from a garden.

Gael Monfils got a trophy that looked like a big snake. Khachanov, the runner-up, not surprisingly,  got a trophy that looked like a smaller snake.

Tennis has a long tradition of giving trophies that look bizarre. Now this snake trophy from Adelaide joins the elite list.

The LTA thinks Andy Murray and Liam Broady are married. The esteemed British tennis organization tweeted a quote by Andy Murray but attributed the quote to Andy Broady. Understandably, people are scratching their heads.

When Andy Murray lost his wedding ring last year, he said that the incident will create trouble in his  marriage. But we didn’t think he will leave Kim Sears for Liam Broady.

It’s also interesting that Sir Andy Murray has decided to take on Broady’s last name. A lot of crazy things have happened in the tennis world in January 2022 but no one predicted this.
