Andy Murray is currently working Esteban Carril. Carril previously worked with another Brit, Johanna Konta. He helped Konta reach the Top 10 in the world.

Carril was in the running to be Emma Raducanu’s coach but is now coaching Andy Murray. Jamie Delgado has coached Murray since 2016 but is likely to leave the team.

Speaking of Carril, Murray said:

As a person, he’s very calm and considered. He’s a good communicator as well which is certainly not one of my strengths so it’s something that I kind of look for in a coach, so that’s certainly a positive thing

Andy Murray has had many coaches over the years. He was coached by well-known former players such as Ivan Lendl, Àlex Corretja, Jonas Björkman, Brad Gilbert and Amelia Mauresmo.
