American tennis star Tommy Paul is coached by veteran tennis coach Brad Stine. Stine coached former world number 1 Jim Courier. He has also coached other successful players such as Andrei Medvedev, Mardy Fish, Taylor Dent, and Sébastien Grosjean.
Stine has been coaching Tommy Paul since 2020. During that Paul has steadily moved up the rankings. In 2023, under Stine’s tutelage, Paul reached his first grand slam semifinal at the Australian Open.
Stine spent many years as a college coach. He was an assistant coach and head coach for the Fresno State men’s tennis team. As a coach, he led Fresno State to its first-ever top 20 NCAA Division I national ranking.
Tommy Paul was a successful junior. He reached two junior grand slam finals in 2015 – winning the boys’ title by beating fellow American Taylor Fritz but losing to Fritz in the US Open final.
