Bianca Andreescu Splits With BMW, To Become Cadillac Ambassador

Bianca Andreescu has joined the Cadillac family as the brand’s spokesman and ambassador. Andreescu was previously sponsored by BMW in a partnership that started in 2019.

Given Andreescu’s popularity in Canada, we can only conclude that Cadillac offered more money than BMW for the partnership.

In 2019, she became the first Canadian player to win a singles grand slam title. She also became the first teenager to win a grand slam since Maria Sharapova.

After winning the US Open, Bianca Andreescu has struggled with injuries. But she has been able to sign up several sponsors such as Rolex and Sleep Country despite being away from the court. Andreescu is very popular in Canada and in Romania, where her parents are from.

Cadillac is the luxury car division of American carmaker General Motors. Cadillac is named after Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, who founded Detroit. GM acquired the brand in 1909.
