Alexei Popyrin Signs Sponsorship Deal With Fila

Alexei Popyrin has parted ways with Nike and will wear Fila clothing and apparel. Fila shared the news of the new partnership on social media.

Popyrin has been steadily climbing up the rankings on the ATP tour after an impressive junior career in which he won the 2017 boys’ French Open title and reached a peak ranking of world number 2.

In 2021, he won his first title in Singapore and racked up the biggest win of his career against Stefanos Tsitsipas (via retirement). He has earned over $2 million in his career.

Alexei Popyrin was born in Sydney, Australia to Russian parents. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish. He has been training at the Mouratoglou Academy since 2017.

Liam Broady Shows Solidarity With The LGBT Community

Liam Broady wore rainbow laces during his first round match at the Australian Open to show his support for the LGBT community.

The rainbow laces campaign is an effort to eliminate homophobia in British sport. The campaign hopes to raise awareness and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender players and fans.

Speaking of his rainbow laces, Liam Broady said that he wanted to send a message of support to the LGBT community. He said that the culture we live in makes it difficult for sportsmen and women to come out as gay.
