Iga Swiatek was featured on the January cover of Elle magazine in Poland. Swiatek, who is one of the most successful Polish tennis players ever, posed in several pictures for the magazine and shared them on her social media channels.

On its Instagram page, Elle wrote:

She is 20 years old and is one of the world’s top tennis players. Iga Swiatek came to the cover session in the break between tournaments – we had three hours to take pictures. Relaxed and positive towards the ideas of the stylist Karolina Limbach, she willingly agreed to see herself in an elegant version, and on the cover – extravagant. In order not to be too serious, she added a hat and flip-flops that remained on Iga’s feet after an earlier pedicure.

Swiatek is very popular among fans. In 2020, she was voted the WTA fan favorite singles player of the year. In 2019, she was runner-up for the award. In Poland, she is one of the most well-known personalities.

After winning the 2020 French Open, Swiatek had a relatively disappointing 2021. Her best grand slam result came at the French Open, where she reached the quarter finals. 

Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo was introduced to tennis by her mom who is a tennis coach. Her dad is a former soccer player.  As a junior, Tormo was ranked as high as 33 in the world. At the 2013 US Open, she was a runner-up in girls’ doubles with Belinda Bencic.

Until 2017, she played mostly on the ITF tour. After her rankings improved, she has been a consistent fixture on the WTA tour. She has represented Spain at the Olympics and in Fed Cup.

Her biggest win came at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she beat world number one Ashleigh Barty. Her current sponsors are Joma Sport and Wilson. She has earned over $2 million in her career.
