Heather Watson won the mixed doubles title at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships with Henri Kontinen, becoming the first British female grand slam champion in 25 years. Watson and Kontinen also reached the mixed doubles final in 2017. As a junior, Watson won the 2009 US Open girls’ title. She reached a peak junior ranking of world number 3. Watson won her first WTA title in 2012 at the Japan Open. 

Her game is based on her excellent movement around the court and excellent footwork.  Watson is an ambassador for  the British tennis charity ‘Give it Your Max. Her sponsors are New Balance and Babolat. She has earned over $6 million in her career.

She has a racquet contract with Babolat. She currently uses the Babolat Pure Strike racquet. Before that, she was using the Babolat Pure Drive racquet. Before Babolat, she was using Dunlop racquets.

Brands That Sponsor British Tennis Star Ryan Peniston

Ryan Peniston played tennis at the University of Memphis. He earned All-American honors in both singles and doubles during his senior year in college. He started playing on the men’s tour in 2021. In 2022,  he entered the top 150 in the rankings after reaching the quarterfinals at Queen’s Club and Eastbourne.

At age 13, he moved to France to train at ISP Academy. After leaving college, he relied on wild cards to get into tournaments. He is represented by Integral Sports Management.

Peniston’s idols are Rafael Nadal, Andre Agassi and Marcelo Rios. Clay is his favorite surface. He is currently sponsored by Head. He has earned less than $1 million in his career.
