Roger Federer Raises Money For Esther Vergeer Foundation In Netherlands

Roger Federer was in the Netherlands to raise money for the Roger Federer Foundation and the Esther Vergeer Foundation. Federer, Richard Krajicek, Federer, and Vergeer gave tennis lessons to 10 kids.

The previous day, Federer, an eight-time champion at Wimbledon, said he hopes to come back and play Wimbledon one more time. His last appearance at Wimbledon came in 2021 when he lost in the quarterfinals to Hubert Hurkacz.

Esther Vergeer is a retired wheelchair tennis player from the Netherlands. She won a combined 48 grand slam titles in singles and doubles. She ended her singles career on a remarkable winning streak of 470 matches.
