Maxime Cressy is a French-American tennis player. Until 2018, he represented France but currently represents the United States. Cressy played college tennis for UCLA between 2016 and 2019. He won the 2019 NCAA doubles championship partnering with Keegan Smith. He was an All-American in both singles and doubles.
Since turning pro, Cressy had some good results in the Challenger circuit. He plays a serve-and-volley type of game, which is unconventional in modern tennis. He also prefers to chip and charge to the net and use his excellent volleying skills to close out the points. His best grand slam result came at the 2022 Australian Open where he reached the fourth round. In 2022, he won his first ATP title at the Hall of Fame Open on grass.
His current sponsors are Babolat and New Balance. He has earned over $3 million in his career.
Maxime Cessy’s Sponsors
Cressy has a clothing and shoe sponsorship contract with New Balance. Before that, he was wearing Adidas apparel and shoes on the court. It’s not clear if he had sponsorship from Adidas. Lower-ranked players sometimes buy brand-name apparel with their own money.
