Alex de Minaur let his game do all the talking. The Australian has quietly moved up in the world rankings as a result of his consistent results.  de Minaur has an apparel and footwear sponsorship deal with Asics.  He currently wears the Asics Solution Speed FF shoes on the court.

Asics Solution Speed FF is one of the lightest tennis shoes you will find. The shoe has extra cushioning on top of your feet and has good ventilation there. But the breathability in the toe area could better.

These shoes are surprisingly stable and supportive for a lightweight shoe. With the flex of the shoe and the comfortable cushioning, you will be confident moving around the court.

The shoes don’t require break-in and you will be comfortable the moment you put them on. As with any lightweight shoe, there is less material in the outsole. But the durability of this shoe is acceptable but not great.

The shoe provides good traction – enough grip when you need it and enough give when you want to move around quickly.  If you are an aggressive mover on the court, you will love these shoes. The laces are skinny and could have been better designed. 

Bottom Line

Asics Solution Speed FF shoes are lightweight and will improve your movement on the court.  The shoes have good traction and provide excellent lateral stability as you move around the court. Not the most durable shoe in the market but its other features more than compensate for that.
