Argentine tennis has a new star on the horizon, and his name is Mariano Navone. This clay court wizard has been turning heads and breaking records, leaving fans and pundits alike wondering just how high he can climb.
Navone’s journey to the top has been nothing short of remarkable.

In 2023, he was grinding it out on the Challenger circuit, racking up an impressive five titles. But it was 2024 when he truly announced himself to the tennis world. Starting the year ranked 125th, Navone went on a tear that saw him skyrocket into the top 30. Talk about a glow-up!

But here’s where it gets really interesting. Navone made history at the 2024 French Open, becoming the first player ever to make his Grand Slam debut as a seeded player. That’s right, folks – this guy walked into Roland Garros for the first time with a number next to his name. If that doesn’t scream “I’ve arrived,” I don’t know what does.

Though he has yet to win an ATP title, he has reached 2 ATP finals. Not surprisingly, clay is his best surface as is the case for most Argentines. His sponsors are Joma and Head.  He has earned less than $2 million in his career.
