Jason Kubler was ranked world number 1 as a junior but after moving to the ATP tour, he has been dealing with a hereditary knee condition, which prevented him from reaching his full potential.  He underwent six knee surgeries. To protect his knee, Kubler played only on clay courts for several years.  

In 2022, he reached the Australian Open mixed doubles final with fellow Aussie Jaimee Fourlis. At Wimbledon, he reached the fourth round – his deepest run in singles at a grand slam. His sponsors are Lotto, Babolat and GO Markets. He has earned over $1 million in his career.

Roger Federer Watches Nicholas Godsick Play At Wimbledon

Roger Federer dropped by the tennis courts at Wimbledon to watch Nicholas Godsick play his boy’s singles match. Nicholas is the son of Federer’s longtime agent Tony Godsick and his wife Mary Joe Fernandez. It was not good outing for Godsick though . He was soundly beaten 6-2 and 6-0 by seventh seed Gilles Bailly.

Nicholas Godsick has good tennis genes. Mary Joe Fernandez reached three singles finals at three grand slams. She also won two doubles grand slam titles in her career.

Tony Godsick was Roger Federer’s agent at IMG. But he left the firm to start a sports management agency, Team8, with Roger Federer.
