Sofia Kenin Switches To Apparel Made By Bulgarian Brand Pironetic

American tennis star Sofia Kenin appears to have split from her clothing and shoe sponsor Adidas. Kenin was wearing Pironetic, a Bulgarian brand founded by Tsvetana Pironkova.

Despite her accomplishments on the court, Kenin has struggled to attract or retain sponsors. Amanda Anisimova, a player with far fewer accomplishments was able to sign a $100 million contract with Nike.

Pironetic was founded by Tsvetana Pironkova and Mihail Mirchev in 2016. The company makes stylish and modern sports and casual wear.

Sofia Kenin‘s other sponsors include Lavazza, Motorola, Jet Token, KT Tapes, and Smile Direct Club. She signed a representation deal with GSE worldwide after an acrimonious breakup with her previous management company Top Five Management.

After an incredible 2020 in which she won the Australian Open and reached the French Open finals, Kenin struggled to put together a good run. Her best grand slam result in 2021 was reaching the fourth round at the French Open.
