Sofia Kenin’s Sponsors

Sofia “Sonya” Kenin was born in Moscow, Russia but her family moved to the US when she was young.  Her tennis talent was evident from a young age and was able to win numerous titles in her juniors. Kenin was ranked No. 1 in the USTA national rankings for each of the 12, 14, 16, and 18-and-under divisions.

Kenin has appeared with Rick Macci in several United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) training videos designed to help tennis professionals teach younger players.

Since turning pro in 2017, Kenin has had considerable success on the WTA tour.  She has beaten many top players including Serena Williams at the 2019 French Open. She won the 2020 Australian Open singles title to capture her first grand slam title. Her current sponsors are Fila, Babolat, Motorola, Smile Direct Club, Jet Token, and KT Tapes. 

She is currently represented by the talent agency GSE Worldwide. She was represented by Top Five Management until 2020.

In 2018, Kenin signed a clothing and shoe deal with FILA. She wears the Fila Axilus 2 Energized shoes on the court.

In addition to sponsoring ATP and WTA players, FILA also supports a number of tournaments and tennis academies around the world, including the Kim Clijsters Academy in Belgium.

Kenin uses Babolat racquets on the tennis court.  Her current racquet is the Babolat Pure Drive.
