Bianca “Bibi” Andreescu was born in Mississauga, Ontario to Nicu and Maria Andreescu, who had immigrated to Canada from Romania. A couple of years later, Andreescus moved back to Canada and Bianca trained at Tennis Canada’s National Training Program in Toronto.
