Federer Signs Deal To Play Exhibition In China Until 2023

Roger Federer has signed a deal to play exhibition matches in Hangzhou, China until 2023.  Federer will be 42 years old in 2023.

The exhibition will feature Alexander Zverev (represented by Team8, Federer’s sports management agency) and the Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike Bryan.

As Federer enters the last years of his playing career, he has been increasingly willing to play exhibition matches, either for charity or money. He is already the highest paid tennis player in the world.

Federer’s sponsors have also been willing to sign up Federer for long term deals beyond his tennis playing years.

Brands That Have Invested In Kim Clijsters

Kim Clijsters is one of the most athletic players you will see on the tennis court.  Her ability to perform splits during points is fun to watch.

Clijsters first retired from tennis in 2012 at age 23 as a result of injuries.  She got married and had a daughter. She returned to tennis two years later, winning three grand slam titles. She retired again in 2012 but will return to the WTA tour in 2020 at age 36.

Kim Clijsters is married to former basketball player and current basketball coach Bryan Lynch. They have three children – a daughter Jada, and two sons, Jack and Blake.  Clijsters previously had a long-term relationship with Australian tennis player Lleyton Hewitt, earning her the nickname “Aussie Kim”.

Clijsters has worn Fila apparel and shoes throughout her playing career. In 2017, Fila introduced a special collection for Clijsters to honor her induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

KCA is located in the city of Bree, Belgium. The academy trains aspiring tennis players to reach their goals in professional and recreational tennis.

TEN4KIM

TEN4KIM is a nonprofit founded by Clijsters. The organization helps talented young players accomplish their goal of becoming a professional tennis player by providing financial support in the early stages of their career.

SOS Children’s Villages

Clijsters works with SOS Children’s Villages to ensure that kids grow up in strong loving families. SOS looks for what’s best for the child – either in his/her own family or a new family.
