Very few things in tennis are predictable. But one thing you can always predict is Karolina Pliskova splitting with a coach. This time, Pliskova announced that she has split with Daniel Vallverdu.

Pliskova has made deep runs in grand slams but is yet to win a grand slam. 2020 was a disappointing year for Pliskova. Her best grand slam result came at the Australian Open, where she made the third round. 

Prior to Vallverdu, Pliskova worked with former Wimbledon champion Conchita Martinez.

Lorenzo Musetti is a name we will hear in tennis for a long time. The 18-year old Italian is quietly beating top names and slowly moving up the rankings.

Musetti is part of the new generation of Italians taking over men’s tennis. As a junior, he won the 2019 Australian Open and reached the finals at the 2018 US Open. He is currently ranked 127 in the ATP rankings.
