Denis Kudla was born in Kyiv, Ukraine to Ukrainian parents. His family moved to the US when he was one. He picked up tennis because his brother Nikita played the sport. He trained at the Junior Tennis Champions Center  in College Park, Maryland, when he was young.

Kudla had a good junior career. He reached the 2010 US Open boys’ singlefinal, where he lost to Jack Sock. He reached a world ranking of 3 in the juniors. Though he had an interest from the University of Virginia, Kudla skipped college and turned pro. Kudla’s idol growing up was Roger Federer though he modeled his game after Spaniard, David Ferrer. His best grand slam performance has been reaching the third round, which he has done multiple times.

Kudla has spent most of his professional career playing challenger events because his rankings didn’t allow him to participate in more prestigious ATP tournaments. He is represented by talent agency, Topnotch management. His current sponsors are Lacoste, Yonex, Vital proteins, C4 Energy, and Topcourt. He has earned more than $4 million in his career.

Kudla has a clothing sponsorship contract with Lacoste. Lacoste sponsors several top tennis players including Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev.

Kudla has a racquet sponsorship contract with Yonex. He uses the Yonex Vcore 98 racquet. He was previously using Technifibre racquets.

Vital Proteins makes nutritional products for people who lead an active lifestyle. 

Topcourt

Topcourt is an online learning platform that offers tennis lessons and drills. Lessons are taught by current and former tennis players.

C4 is an energy drink brand that makes nutritious drinks to help athletes and people who are active improve their performance.

Eugenie Bouchard Becomes Ambassador For Slinger Bag

Baltimore-based Slinger Bag has signed up Eugenie Bouchard as its ambassador. Bouchard joins an impressive list of players and coaches endorsing the brand.

Tommy Haas, Mike and Bob Bryan, Nick Bollettieri, Patrick Mouratoglou and Darren Cahill are ambassadors of the brand. Haas leads the company’s ambassador program that focuses on the growth of the company’s products at all levels of tennis.

Slinger Bag is a ball laucher that helps amateur and professional players improve their game. It comes with an suite of apps designed to improve performance. 

I am thrilled to be joining Slinger and the other tennis stars and legends involved in this amazing new company. I love hitting with my Slinger Bag and think that it has something to offer tennis players of all skill levels. It also opens up tennis as a fun way to get in a workout without the need for a playing partner or coach. I’m going to be using my Slinger Bag a lot during my rehab over the next few months and once I am back playing competitively again.
