Puerto Rican tennis player Monica Puig is now engaged to her boyfriend Nathan Rakitt. The engagement happened at the Dutchman State Park, Arizona.  Puig shared the news on Instagram with a picture and a lovely message. Several WTA players, tournaments, and sponsors congratulated the couple on their engagement.

Nathan Rakitt played tennis at Georgia Tech. He is currently a business consultant in Phoenix, Arizona. The couple has been dating for almost 2 years. Puig was previously dating MLB player Derek Dietrich.

At the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, Puig became the first Puerto Rican to win an Olympic gold medal. In 2016, she reached a peak singles ranking of 27 in the world.  She has struggled with injuries in the last year and her rankings have dropped out of the Top 200.

Belarusian tennis player Aliaksandra Sasnovich comes from a sports family – her mom played basketball and her dad played tennis and hockey. 

Sasnovich reached a peak singles ranking of world number 30 in 2018. She has beaten several top players including Serena Williams and Emma Raducanu. She speaks Belarusian, Russian, English. Her current sponsors are Adidas and Head.
