AWKWARD – Dominic Thiem’s Tennis Grunts Mistaken For Porn Movie Shooting, Police Called

Tennis grunts can be annoying even if you are watching tennis on TV. Consider being neighbors when you are not aware someone is playing tennis near you and grunting.

Poor Dominic Thiem, who has been struggling since his return to the tour after surgery, was practicing at  the Traiskirchen training complex in Austria. Neighbors believed that a porn movie was being shot there after hearing the grunts and called the police. The grunts lasted more than an hour according to reports. Things were fine once police learned Thiem was just practicing tennis.

To make things interesting, Thiem was practicing without a shirt. For Thiem, it’s not the first time his groans have got him in trouble,

-Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem is currently ranked 343 in the world. Thiem won the 2020 US Open title but a recurring wrist injury has derailed his career and he is hoping to find his form again.
