Ben Shelton Signs With Roger Federer’s Agency Team 8 (And Wears On Shoes With “RF” Logo)

Rising American tennis star Ben Shelton has signed with Roger Federer‘s management company Team 8. Federer founded Team 8 with his longtime agent Tony Godsick. Team 8 represents tennis stars such as Coco Gauff and Juan Martin Del Potro.

Ben Shelton won the 2022 NCAA Division I championship representing the Florida Gators, the tennis team from the University of Florida. His dad Bryan Shelton is a former tennis player  and currently coaches the Florida Gators.

Ben Shelton was wearing On Shoes with the “RF” logo, which were sent to him by Roger Federer. Federer is an investor in the Swiss shoe brand On and wears On shoes on the court.

In addition to representing athletes, Team 8 also owns the Laver Cup, which pits top players from Europe against tennis stars from the rest of the world (called Team World).

Czech Women Are Dominating Women’s Tennis, Roger Federer Biographer Says Federer Isn’t Saying Goodbye To Tennis For a While

17-year old Linda Fruhvirtova is one of three Czech women who qualified for the US Open main draw. Sara Bejlek (16 years old)  and Linda Noskova (17 years old) also qualifed for the main draw.

On the men’s side, Brandon Holt, son of two-time US Open champion Tracy Austin qualified for the US Open men’s main draw. Holt played college tennis at USC and was a four-time All-American.

Linda Fruhvirtova’s sister, 15-year old Brenda Fruhvirtova, is on a 20-match winning streak on the ITF tour. She has won four ITF titles in a row. She is 40-1 in sets during this incredible run.
