Maria Sharapova has bought a five-acre ranch in the city of Summerland in Santa Barbara County for $8.6 million. The ranch sits on a hilltop and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

The property features three standalone bedrooms, a five stall horse barn, and lush lawns and gardens. The listing for the property says that the property has its own private well and storage for 15,000 gallons of water.

Sharapova will have very wealthy neighbors. Billionaire Riley Bechtel bought the neighboring 237-acre estate recently for $63 million. TV star Ellen DeGeneres and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt also own properties in the area.
