Filip Krajinovic Switches To Lacoste AG-LT21 Shoes

Serbian tennis player Filip Krajinovic has switched to Lacoste tennis shoes. Krajinovic is wearing the Lacoste AG-LT21, which Lacoste introduced earlier this year. Daniil Medvedev was the first person to wear the AG-LT21 and is the face of the Lacoste’s new shoe brand.

Krajinovic already has a clothing sponsorship contract with Lacoste. So it’s not surprising that he now wears Lacoste shoes as well. Since Lacoste didn’t make tennis shoes previously, many Lacoste-sponsored players had separate shoe sponsorship contracts or bought their own shoes.

Daniil Medvedev worked with Lacoste to design the  AG-LT21 shoe. AG-LT21 shoes are lightweight and have padded collar around the ankle, which provides good support while moving around on the court. The shoe has breathable uppers, a comfortable midsole, and Goodyear rubber on the sole for traction and durability.

When Lacoste released the AG-LT21, fans wondered if other players will start wearing the shoe. It appears that Lacoste is now promoting the shoe among other tennis players. Novak Djokovic, who is sponsored by Lacoste for clothing, wears Asics shoes. He has a sponsorship contract with Asics and may not be able to wear Lacoste shoes immediately. Top players are also reluctant to change shoes because it affects their mobility on the court and increases their chances of getting injured.
