Daria Gavrilova and Luke Saville got married in Melbourne. The couple first met in 2009 as junior tennis players when they are both 15 and were engaged in 2018.
Gavrilova, who was born in Russia, became an Australian citizen in 2016. The wedding was a perfect event for the Gavrilova and Saville, unlike Saville’s clumsy proposal.
Gavrilova was ranked world number 20 in 2017 but persistent injuries have pushed her ranking out of the Top 400. Saville reached the finals at the 2020 Australian Open doubles competition with partner Max Purcell. He is currently ranked 23 in the world in doubles.
