Coco Gauff’s Weak Forehand – Long Swing, Extreme Grip, And Too Much Spin

Coco Gauff has come a long way in the last few years. But she needs to improve her forehand to win grand slams. Her forehand has too much spin and her swing is too loopy for a top player.

Her forehand doesn’t hold up in pressure situations. She often ends up hitting the ball short because many players on tour hit flat into her forehand and Gauff struggles with timing properly because of her poor technique.

Coco Gauff‘s backhand is solid but opponents exploit her forehand at will during important points. She needs to shorten her swing and change her forehand full western rip. In addition, she needs to work on her footwork on the forehand side, which has been inconsistent recently.
