British doubles specialist Joe Salisbury didn’t play much junior tennis. But he had a good college tennis career at the University of Memphis, where he played doubles and got an economics degree.

In 2020, he won the Australian Open doubles title partnering Rajeev Ram. In doing so, he became the fourth Brit in the open era to win a doubles grand slam.

Robert Farah has been a top doubles player for some time. Born to a family of Lebanese descent, Farah played college tennis at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2006-2010. Farah ended his senior season as the number one ranked NCAA Div 1 player in singles. He was ranked number two in doubles.

Farah plays doubles with countryman Juan Sebastian Cabal. The pair had a dominant year in 2019 when they won the doubles competition at Wimbledon and the US Open.
