Marin Cilic Welcomes Second Child
Marin Cilic and his wife Kristina welcomed their second child, a baby boy. Cilic shared the news on social media with a picture of him holding the baby’s hand. The couple’s first child, Baldo, was born in January 2020.
Grateful to share that Baldo’s best friend has arrived 😍. And just like that we are officially a team of 4 👨👩👦👦. Baby boy is doing great and @kristina_milkovic is an absolute rockstar. We can’t wait to bring this guy home to his brother.
In May 2021, Cilic and Kristina announced that they are expecting their second baby. They got married at Sveti Nikola Church in Cavtat in 2018.
Cilic won the 2014 US Open beating Kei Nishikori in the final. He was runner-up at two other grand slams – the 2017 Wimbledon Championships and the 2018 Australian Open. He won the silver medal in doubles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with his partner Ivan Dodig. Cilic plays well on all surfaces – has reached the semifinals or better at all four grand slams. He reached a career-high ranking of world number 3 in 2018.
