Simona Halep Splits With Toni Iuruc After One Year Of Marriage

Simona Halep and her husband Toni Iuruc are getting divorced less than a year after getting married. Iuruc confirmed the news of the divorce. The couple has prenup in place, so the divorce will not involve splitting the millions in assets that Halep and Iuruc own.

As Halep traveled around the world for the most part of the year, the distance between the two grew and has been blamed for the breakup. This is Iuruc’s third divorce.

Simona Halep is a two-time grand slam champion and a former world number 1. She won the 2018 French Open and 2019 Wimbledon titles. Halep is the first Romanian woman to win a Wimbledon singles title and reach the world’s number one ranking.

Petra Kvitova Engaged To Her Coach Jiri Vanek At Wimbledon

Petra Kvitova is now engaged to her boyfriend Jiri Vanek. Kvitova shared the engagement news on social media. The couple got engaged at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, the place where Kvitova won two Wimbledon titles.

Jiri Vanek is not just Kvitova’s boyfriend, he has also been coaching her since 2016. Vanek and Kvitova have been dating for more than a year. In the past, Kvitova dated tennis players Adam Pavlásek and Radek Štěpánek, and hockey player Radek Meidl.

Petra Kvitova has won two grand slam titles – both at Wimbledon. She reached the finals at the Australian Open in 2019 and the semifinals at the French Open in 2012 and 2020.  She reached a peak ranking of world number 2 in 2011.
