Adidas has added Elina Svitolina to its roster of tennis athletes. Svitolina had split with Nike earlier this year and was wearing the Ukrainian brand Paka.

Svitolina, who is returning to the tour after having a baby girl, shared the news on Instagram.

Svitolina is married to charismatic Fench tennis player Gael Monfils. They married in 2021 and welcomed a baby girl, Skai, in 2022.

Elina Svitolina won the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. 2019 she reached the semifinals at Wimbledon and the US Open. She has won 17 career titles and reached a career-high ranking of world number 3 in 2017.

Svitolina’s other sponsors include Wilson, Plantir, Hublot, EAFIT, and Poustovit. She is one of the more popular players on the tour because of her engaging social media presence.

Retired Australian tennis star Ashleigh Barty and her husband Garry Kissick have welcomed their first child – a baby boy Haydon. The couple announced the wonderful news on Instagram with the caption,

“Welcome to the world, Hayden!”

Ashleigh Barty is a former world number 1 and a three-time grand slam champion. She announced her retirement from tennis last year at age 25. The news surprised a lot of fans as she was still young and was at the top of her game. She won 15 singles titles and 12 doubles titles in her career.

Many top players congratulated the couple on the baby’s birth. Australian Open congratulated her on the “Greatest triumph” and Wimbledon wondered whether Hayden will be a future Wimbledon champion.
