Emma Raducanu Receives MBE From King Charles For Service To Tennis

Emma Raducanu received an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) from King Charles for her service to tennis. The event took place at Windsor Castle.

Though 2022 was a disappointing season for Raducanu, her accomplishment of becoming the first British woman to win a grand slam since 1977 is noteworthy and is recognized as a huge feat in Britain.

Emma Raducanu had a dream run at the 2022 US Open during which she didn’t lose a single set. It was only her second grand slam tournament. She played the fewest majors in tennis history before winning a grand slam title. In 2021, she has voted the Newcomer of the Year by the WTA.

Despite the bad behavior, Moutet reached his career-high ranking of world number 51 in November 2022. He won two challenger titles in Lyon and Szczeci. As a junior, Moutet earned a peak ranking of world number 7.
