Roger Federer Offers Directions in English, German, And French On The Waze App

Since Roger Federer retired from tennis in 2022, he has had a lot of free time. And he is putting it to good use. Federer will now guide you on the Waze app with voice directions in English, German, and French.

Waze is a subsidiary of Google Maps which provides, live traffic and updates on road conditions. In addition to Federer, the Waze app offers voice directions from popular personalities such as Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, and Kevin Hart.

Wazw was originally founded in Israel in 2006. The company was acquired by Google in 2013 for $1.3 billion. The app is available in over 50 languages. The app generates revenue through local advertising.  Waze users can report accidents, traffic jams, police traps, and other road incidents. Based on this crowdsourced information, Waze sends updates to its users.

Roger Federer is a 20-time grand slam champion. He was ranked world number one for 310 weeks. He won 103 titles in his career which spanned two decades. He is considered one of the most marketable athletes in the world.

It’s A Girl For Naomi Osaka

Naomi Osaka is expecting a baby girl. Though Osaka shared the pregnancy news a while back, this is the first time she has revealed the baby’s gender. The baby is due in June or July of 2023.

Osaka had previously said that she knew the baby’s gender but her boyfriend Cordae wanted to wait until after the birth of the baby to find out the gender.

Osaka shared the news with photos on social media. The four-time grand slam champion plans to return to tennis at the 2024 Australian Open after the pregnancy.

Naomi Osaka is a former world number 1 and is one of the most marketable female athletes in the world. She is known for her social activism on and off the court. She has supported the Black Lives Matter movement and has led protests against police brutality.
