Camilla Giorgi has been one of Italy’s top women tennis players for many years. In her career, she has beaten several top players including Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, and Victoria Azarenka.

Giorgi has been coached by dad Sergio since she started playing tennis. Her mother Claudia Gabriella Fullone is a fashion designer. Her brother Amadeus is a professional soccer player.

She represented Italy at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she reached the quarterfinals. Her career-best singles ranking is world number 26, which she reached in 2018. Her best grand slam result came in 2018 when she reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.

Camilla Georgi trained at the Nick Bollettieri tennis academy after Bollettieri spotted her at a tournament.  Her sponsors are Yonex and Giomila. She has earned over $5 million in her career.
