Roman Safiullin won his first challenger title in 2020 at Cherbourg.  He played junior tennis with fellow Russians Daniil Medvedev, Karen Khachanov, and Andrey Rublev but has not found the same level of success.
 
As a junior, he won the 2015 Australian Open boys’ title. His junior rankings peaked at world number 2. In 2022, he won key matches for Russia for the ATP Cup. His sponsors are Australian and Head.

Christian Garin Switches To Wilson Racquets

Christian Garin has switched to Wilson racquet. He is using the Wilson Blade (appears to be a paint job). He was previously using Head racquets. Garin is not new to racquet changes – he has played with Head, Babolat and Wilson racquets at various points in his career.

Garin also recently switched to Emporio Armani’s EA7 apparel from Adidas. He has been ranked as 17 in the world. He has reached the fourth round at the French Open and Wimbledon.

As a junior, Christian Garin won the 2013 junior French Open title beating Alexander Zverev. He also reached the junior doubles finals that year with fellow Chilean Nicolas Jarry. He became the youngest Chilean player to win a match on the ATP tour at age 16.
