Sam Querrey and his wife Abby became parents for a second time. The couple welcomed their second son Owen James Querrey on November 13, 2021. The Querreys’ first child Ford was born in 2020. The couple got married in 2018.

Sam Querrey dropped out of the Top 100 in world rankings in 2021. But he was ranked as high as 11 in the world in 2018. In 2017, he reached the semifinals at Wimbledon beating then World Number 1 Andy Murray. He has won 10 titles in his career.

In 2020, Sam Querrey tested positive for COVID-19 in Russia. He left the country in a private plane violating ATP’s safety protocols. He was sanctioned by the ATP but he defended his actions and said that he left the country to protect his family.
