Roger Federer Enjoys Watching Skiers At Alpine Ski Race, Eyes Comeback In Fall

Five-time Olympic medalist and a two-time World champion Wendy Holdener  was star struck after meeting Roger Federer at an alpine ski race. Federer was attending the race with his family. He has been away from the tour since Wimbledon last year.

He also gave an interview to SRF in which he said talked about his knee surgery last year. His rehab process has been long but a recent MRI has been positive. But his comeback will be in late summer or fall. That mean’s missing Wimbledon.

Many Federer fans will miss Federer at Wimbledon this year. But at least, he hasn’t hung up his racquet. Federer has a long way to go regain fitness and playing competitive tennis again.

While Federer was away from the game, Rafael Nadal beat his record of 20 grand slams. Novak Djokovic has also matched his 20 grand slams. But Federer remains very popular among fans compared to Nadal and Djokovic.
