Tennis Stars Raise Money For Victims of Hurricane Dorian
Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas will host a fundraising event to benefit the victims of Hurricane Dorian. It’s a 3-day event that starts on November 7.
The event, called the Baha Mar Cup is a pro-am tennis tournament pitting former professional players against fans. The event also includes exhibition matches involving former and current professional tennis players, and celebrities.
Baha Mar Cup will feature Coco Gauff, Mark Knowles, Andy Roddick, Tommy Haas, Bob Bryan, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and James Blake.
The fundraising effort is led by Mark Knowles, a former double Grand Slam Champion and a native of Bahamas. “I am honored to share the beauty and warmth of my country with the world as we come together to help the people of Abaco and Grand Bahama unite to build an even better Bahamas,” said Mark Knowles.
Baha Mar encourages guests, tennis fans and the community to donate directly at www.BahaMar.com/Dorian.
