Tennis now has a banana gate scandal on its hands! French tennis player Elliot Benchetrit asked a ball girl to peel his banana during the Australian Open. The umpire stepped in, and told him off. Benchetrit was not too pleased.
It’s bad enough that the ball boys and girls have to handle sweaty towels. Good call by the umpire in this situation.
