Coco Gauff’s Heartwarming Post-US Open Victory Prayer Delights Fans

When it comes to athletes, we hear a lot about their work routines, their practice sessions, and the hard work they put in. But we rarely hear about their faith.

After winning the US Open, Coco Gauff dropped to her knees and took a moment to pray. That act warmed the hearts of many people who watched the final.

Gauff attends the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church in Florida. She is a member of the choir team at the church. She has said that she prays before every match.

Speaking of her faith, Gauff said,

I don’t pray for results, I just ask that I get the strength to give it my all. Whatever happens, happens. I am so blessed.

Faith has been a big part of Coco Gauff’s life. Even when things were not going well, she relied on her faith for strength.

That French Open loss was a heartbreak. I realized GOD puts you through tribulations and trials. I don’t pray for results. I just ask that I get the strength to give it my all. Whatever happens happens. I’m so blessed in this life.

-Coco Gauff
