Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was born and raised to Russian parents in La Cala del Moral, Rincón de la Victoria. His dad is a former boxer. He won the 2017 Wimbledon boys’ singles title as a junior without dropping a set.

Fokina’s style of play is more like Novak Djokovic’s game. His best grand slam result came at the 2021 French Open where he reached the quarterfinals.

His favorite player is Roger Federer. He is also a fan of the soccer team Real Madrid. His current sponsors include Adidas and Head. He has earned over $5 million in his career.

In 2024, Fokina signed a clothing and shoe sponsorship contract with Adidas. He had a clothing and shoe sponsorship deal with Diadora until the end of 2023.  Diadora is an Italian sportswear and footwear manufacturing company based in Caerano di San Marco (Veneto).  Diadora is a subsidiary of Geox. 

Head

Fokina has a racquet sponsorship deal with Head. He currently uses the Head Graphene 360 Extreme racquet.

Adoptas.org

Fokina runs Adoptas.org which helps people find pets by connecting with animal shelters around Spain. It’s motto is “Adopt, don’t buy”.

Belinda Bencic Dating Retired Soccer Player Martin Hromkovic (Also Her Trainer)

Belinda Bencic has been dating her trainer Martin Hromkovic since 2018.  Hromkovic is 15 years older than Bencic.

Both Bencic and Hromkvic have roots in Slovakia – Hromkovic is from Slovakia and Bencic is of Slovak descent.  The pair often trains in Slovakia.

Hromkovic played soccer in Slovakia for OFC Russel Gabčíkovo. He retired from soccer in 2019.

Bencic is not shy about her relationship with Hromkovic. She frequently posts pictures of the couple on social media.

Mixing personal and professional lives can be tricky. But Bencic appears to be handling it well.
