Dominic Thiem Finds New Love, Dating Dancer Lili Paul-Roncalli

Dominic Thiem is off the market! Thiem is dating dancer Lili Paul-Roncalli. The two have been seeing each other since October and things have gotten serious in the last few weeks. The couple shared IG stories confirming their love for each other. 

Lili Paul-Roncal is a dancer, skater, and contortionist. She won the reality  “Let’s Dance” winner in the summer of 2020 partnering Massimo Sinato. Her father is Bernhard Paul is the co-founder of Circus Roncalli, a German circus founded in 1976.

Dominic Thiem was dating French tennis Kristina Mladenovic until November 2019. Thiem had indicated that a busy tennis schedule was a reason for their split. 

2020 was a fantastic year for Thiem. He won his first grand slam at the US Open. He also reached the finals at the Nitto ATP Finals, losing to Daniil Medvedev. 

Thiem has been in preparation mode for the 2021 season. His immediate plans include playing at the ATP Cup in February, followed by the Australian Open.

Alexander Zverev Splits With Coach Ferrer Heading Into 2021 Season

David Ferrer won’t be coaching Alexander Zverev in 2021. The coaching arrangement, which started in July 2020, ended last month when the two sat down to take stock at the end of the season. Zverev’s father, Alexander Zverev Sr be Zverev’s coach going into 2021. 

Zverev’s coaching relationships with other former players such as Juan Carlos Ferrero and Ivan Lendl didn’t last too long. So it’s not too surprising that Ferrer’s stint was short too. Previous coaches have cited Zverev’s work ethic as one of the reasons for the split.

Ferrer said that his split with Zverev was amicable and that it was his decision. 

“Absolutely nothing has happened between us, everything is still fine. In fact, I am very grateful to him for the opportunity he gave me to travel with him.”

I would like to thank David for the months we have shared, the times on and off the court, wishing him only the best in the future. I also want to thank his family for giving me the chance to spend precious weeks with David during these difficult times. I have tremendous respect for the way David played and coaches tennis.

Zverev had very good success on the court during his partnership with Zverev.  He reached the final at the 2020 US Open losing to Dominic Thiem.

Zverev has had a tumultuous few months. His former girlfriend  Olga Sharypova accused him of domestic assault. Zverev has denied the allegations.
