Nicholas Godsick Makes His Mark At The Cleveland Challenger

17-year old Nicholas Godsick, son of Roger Federer‘s agent Tony Godsick and former WTA world number 4 Mary Joe Fernandez reached the doubles  quarterfinals at the Cleveland Challenger partnering Dominic Stricker.

Godsick and Stricker lost to the American pair Jackson Withrow and Robert Galloway in a deciding tiebreak. In 2021, Godsick reached the boys’ double semifinals at the US Open.

Nicholas Godsick has been a familiar figure in Federer’s box with his parents. He has also practiced with Federer occasionally for years.

Alexander Zverev Gets Hit Repeatedly By Errant Balls From Ball Kids – Tennis Twitter Loves It

At the Open Sud de France in Montpellier; France, Alexander Zverev has been repeatedly hit by balls thrown by the ball kids. Tennis Twitter was ecstatic to see Zverev hit.

Alexander Zverev has been accused by ex-girlfriend Olga Sharypova of domestic abuse. Though Zverev has denied the allegations, the evidence against him is overwhelming. Zverev has had limited repercussions from the allegations. His sponsors have stood by him and his on-court results have not been impacted.

ATP launched an investigation into the allegations. But the investigation been been slow and the ATP has not provided any updates in some time.  So it’s not  a surprise that tennis fans enjoyed seeing Zverev hit by balls on the court.
