Coco Gauff Endorsing Head Boom Racquets

Coco Gauff is endorsing the Head Boom Pro racquets. The Head Boom line of racquets, which Head released recently offers easy power and spin.

Upon closer inspection, it appears that Coco Gauff is using an older head racquet – Head Speed mold PT339.2  with a paint job that makes it look like a Head Boom Pro racquet.

It’s a strategy that racquet manufacturers use often to promote new racquets. Top players are reluctant to change racquets because racquet changes impact their game. But the paint job allows the racquet maker to promote the new line of racquets and the casual tennis fan is unlikely to notice.

Coco Gauff came to the tennis tour a teen phenom. She trained at the Patrick Mouratoglou academy in France as a junior. Her best result at a grand slam was reaching the fourth round at the Australian Open 2021 Prize Money [UPDATED] and Wimbledon.
