Ukrainian tennis star  Anhelina Kalinina has struggled to break through in major tournaments after being very successful on the ITF tour. She broke into the Top 50 rankings in 2022.

As a junior, she won the girls’ doubles title at the Australian Open with Elizaveta Kulichkova. She reached the final at the junior US Open final the same year, where she lost to Marie Bouzková.

Kalinina trained at the Empire Academy in Trnava, Slovakia, with Vladimir Platenik, Dinara Safina’s previous coach. She considers hard court as her favorite surface. She has earned $2 million in her career. Her sponsors are Nike and Yonex.

FedEx Terminates ATP Partnership, Pepperstone Becomes New Platinum Parnter

ATP has ended its 12-year partnership with FedEx. Pepperstone, a financial broker, will replace FedEx and become ATP’s platinum partner, the second highest partnership category.

In a statement, FedEx confirmed that the deal with ATP was terminated at the end of 2021 saying:

FedEx regularly reviews our sport sponsorships to be fully aligned with our overall corporate strategy. We continuously explore sponsorship opportunities to support our commercial and community strategy.

Recently, Fedex was the title sponsor of the ATP rankings. With the new partnership, the live rankings will be called the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings. Pepperstone will have an on-site presence at 11 ATP events during the year, including the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.

Emirates continues to be ATP’s sole premier sponsor, the highest level of sponsorship. Nitto and Infosys are gold sponsors, the third highest sponsorship category.

Pepperstone was founded in 2010 by Owen Kerr and Joe Davenport. The company offers brokerage services in forex, index, commodities, CFD, and cryptocurrencies.
