Future Tennis King Carlos Alcaraz Gets Call From King Felipe After Winning Miami Open

Carlos Alcaraz is the future king of tennis. The future king got a call from the King of Spain, King Felipe after winning his first Masters title at the Miami Open.

Alcaraz beat  Casper Ruud 7-5 6-4 in the final. With the win, Alcaraz became the first Spanish man to win the title. Eight Spaniards had reached the finals at Miami but no one managed to win the title.

Speaking of the surprising call from King Felipe, Alcaraz said:

It’s pretty amazing to get the call from the Spanish king. I was more nervous for that call than the match.

It’s pretty amazing that the Spanish king congratulates you on the hard work that you put in every day and your win. It’s something that you never thought you were going to receive.

Carlos Alcaraz‘s win-loss record since the Australian Open is 16-1. On Sunday, he became the youngest man to win the Miami Open in the tournament’s history.
