Kristyna Pliskova and David Hancko Welcome Baby Boy

Czech tennis star Kristyna Pliskova and her husband David Hancko announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Adamko on social media.

The couple got married in February 2022 after meeting each other in the summer of 2021. Pliskova was already pregnant by the time they got married. She hasn’t played competitively since September 2021.

David Hanko is a soccer player who plays for Sparta Prague in the Czech First League. He has also represented his country Slovakia.

Kristyna Pliskova reached a career-high singles ranking of world number 35. She has won one singles title and four doubles title. in her career.

Kristyna Pliskova is the sister of Karolina Pliskova. The sisters are identical twins. Karolina Pliskova is a former world number 1 and has been more successful than Kristina Pliskova.

Anett Kontaveit And Dmitry Tursunov Split Ending A Wonderful Run

Dmitry Tursunov helped take Anett Kontaveit’s game to the next level. She rose to world number 2 under his watch but Kontaviet announced that she has split with Tursunov.

Kontaveit and Tursunov started working together last fall before the Western & Southern Open. The split was amicable but surprising given the good results Kontaveit has had in the past year.

Tursunov, speaking about the split, said:

I feel proud of the work I put in and a bit sad but sometimes good things must come to an end

Despite rising to world number 2, Kontaveit has struggled to break through in grand slams. Her best grand slam result came at the 2020 Australian Open where she reached the quarterfinals.

Tursunov is widely regarded as a good coach. He previously coached Aryna Sabalenka and helped her reach the top  10 in the world.
