Frances Tiafoe In Hot Water After Calling Stefanos Tsitsipas Greek Yogurt

Frances Tiafoe is in hot water after referring to Stefanos Tsitsipas as Greek Yogurt. The American referred to Tsitsipas multiple times during the Laver Cup – during the match and the post-match press conference.

In the press conference after his win over Tsitsipas,  Tiafoe said:

You know, I see Stef across the court and I’m, like, I’m licking my lips playing that guy. I want to win. So, yeah, I’m just happy I got over the line. Yeah, like we just like Greek yogurt, so it was good

During a changeover, Tiafoe was seen telling his teammates,

After losing to Novak Djokovic earlier in the tournament, Tiafoe beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in a tight match that went to a deciding tiebreak. Felix Auger-Aliassime then beat Novak Djokovic to help Team World win its first-ever Laver Cup.
