Alycia Parks Wins Back To Back Titles, Enters Top 100

Alycia Parks is on a tear winning back-to-back WTA 125K singles titles and rising to 75 in the world. Only three weeks ago, she was ranked 150. She also won the doubles title in Angers with Zhang Shuai. She moved up to 56 in the doubles rankings.

Parks has a huge serve. At the 2021 Us Open, she tied the record for the fastest serve held by Venus Williams. 2022 was a breakout year for Parks. She defeated former world number one Karolina Pliskova for her first Top 20 win at the Ostrava Open.

One area she needs to work on is her return of serve. Once she improves that, she will be a force in singles and doubles. Her game style is similar to Serena and Venus Williams. Alycia Parks and her sister were introduced to the game by their mother. Her mother encouraged her to pursue tennis as a career after seeing her potential.
