Andrey Rublev To Wear Apparel Made By Rublo, His Personal Brand Focusing on Equality
Andrey Rublev and Nike have parted ways. Rublev will wear clothes made by Rublo, a brand he has started. The Rublo brand stands for equality and the good – of people and nationalities.
The brand’s logo is a pair of wings with the quote “Play for the kids, Play for the Light”. With the brand, Rublev hopes to spread the message of equality, kindness, and hope.
Despite big success on the court, Andrey Rublev has struggled to get noticed by sponsors. He doesn’t get the appearance money that other top players get. It comes as no surprise that Nike has dropped him to focus on other marketable athletes.
Rublev has reached the grand slam quarterfinals six times in his career but has struggled to break through. He won the mixed gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with partner Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
In 2022, he reached two grand slam quarterfinals and won four ATP titles. At the year-end ATP finals, he reached the semifinals where he lost to Casper Ruud.
His other sponsors are Head, Bulgari, and Penhaligon. He has earned over $15 million in his career.
