Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo Review – Super Comfy With A Few Drawbacks

Naomi Osaka and Frances Tiafoe wear the Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo on the ATP tour. Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo shoes are one of the most comfortable tennis shoes on the market. With plush cushioning, stepping into these shoes will feel as though you are stepping into a comfy bed. Yes, they are that comfortable!

The design of these shoes will remind you of basketball shoes. The shoes offer a snug fit. In fact, it may be too tight for most people. Most players will need to go half a size up to get a good fit. These shoes don’t need any break-in period.

Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo shoes sit a little high off the ground. Though you can confidently move from side to side with these shoes, I would still rate the stability as average. These shoes don’t provide the same locked-in feel as the Nike Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4

After a few hours of play, you will find that these shoes get hot. Nike could have done a better job on the breathability front.

The outsoles of this shoe will last you a while, even if you wear them off the court because of its plush cushioning. The shoes offer a nice balance of grip and give, and allow you to slide freely on the hardcourt.

Not surprisingly, Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo shoes are heavy given the nice cushioning and extra rubber in the high-wear areas. Men 10.5 size weighs 16.2 oz but you are unlikely to feel the weight because they are so comfortable.

Pros
Comfortable – plush cushioning
Good durability

Cons
Runs hot – ventilation is not very good
Fit – Most players need to go half a size up for a good fit
