Retired Czech tennis couple Nicole Vaidisova and Radek Stepanek are expecting their second child. Vaidisova shared the news on social media with a picture of the couple and a message.

Vaidisova and Stepanek married in 2010 but divorced in 2013.  The couple rekindled their love and got married again in 2018. They have a daughter Stella, who was born in 2018.

Vaidisova reached two grand slam semifinals – at the French Open in 2006 and the Australian Open in 2007. She struggled with injuries and retired in 2010 at age 20. She attempted a comeback in 2014 but continued to struggle with injuries and announced her retirement from professional tennis in 2016.

Stepanek won 5 singles titles in his career and reached a career-high singles ranking of world number 8. He won two doubles grand slam titles (both with Leander Paes) and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics with Lucie Hradecká.
